Global Change Leadership Simulation
Context
Allianz is the world’s largest insurance company. It is a multinational financial services with over 150,000 employees, offices all over the world, and a rich 130-year long history.
Challenge
They were launching a major change programme in the form of Allianz University, and they needed a simulation to target at their global leadership population.
The simulation had to immerse the participants into a world in which they could experience the behaviours, attitudes, and challenges of leading a global organisation with a strong legacy through a significant transformation.
The Solution
Alchemist created a simulation which dropped participants into an Allianz entity located in a fictitious company. The participants had to take turns leading teams with the objective of completing a central task whilst managing challenges by internal and external stakeholders.
The simulation was interlaced with down-times for feedback sessions, as well as constructed to challenge and develop participant’s mindsets central to the transformation.
The impact
Alchemist deployed the simulation to Allianz Global Executives, Regional CEOs and board members.
Multiple deliveries were done throughout various locations in Germany for global teams.
After completion there was Board level sponsorship.
