Accessibility & Design Justice

In 2023, we’re commencing a full-scale accessibility revolution. We’re not solely looking to meet the bare minimum requirements – our mission is to generate design justice for every person who interacts with our content. This includes an in-depth review of our websites, apps, and resources. We’re excited to unveil a new era of accessible design in 2023.

At present, we already ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 A and AA, for our learning content and in line with that, we will always make our designs perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.

Accessibility & Design Justice At Alchemist

We recognise the importance of accessibility and the impact that inaccessible touchpoints or content can have on individuals. That’s why we are taking a bold step forward and undergoing an external audit of all our touchpoints. Through this process, we hope to gain a deeper understanding of where gaps in our accessibility exist and identify practical ways to improve them. Our commitment to accessibility and design justice is unwavering, and we believe that this audit is a crucial step in ensuring that everyone can interact with our organisation in a meaningful way. We understand that accessibility is not just a tickbox, but a fundamental aspect of equity, and we are proud to be taking this proactive approach to improving it.

While we’re working on providing accessible content, we know that barriers might still come up. Whether it’s a technical issue or a design flaw, we want to make sure you can access our content. That’s why we encourage you to reach out to us if you’re experiencing any difficulties with our website.
