Hi all, hope you’ve had a lovely September!

We’ve been really busy this month with a number of interesting projects that many of you have been a part of. From rolling out an immersive promenade experience to expanding the work we do with historic clients, it’s been a packed month!

New Booking Confirmation and Standard Terms and Conditions

We will shortly be launching a new Booking Confirmation, which will be sent to you each time we offer you work. As with the current Booking Confirmation, this will confirm the details of the booking, and we will continue to ask that you send an email back confirming you accept the booking. Future bookings made with the new Booking Confirmation will be underpinned by our new Associate Terms and Conditions (T&Cs). A link to these T&Cs will be embedded in each Booking Confirmation and when you accept the booking, you will also be accepting these T&Cs.

This is another step in our development as Alchemist and formalises how we have historically worked together, as well as updates for latest legislation and best practice. It also provides our customers with the confidentiality and data protections that many are now asking for.

We will be taking our teams through the new T&Cs over the next few weeks, so they are equipped to answer any questions you may have about them. However, we have worked hard to ensure they provide balanced protection to you and us, so we anticipate that the queries will be minimal.

Biggest achievement at Alchemist?

The 3 years that it took to transition from Interact to Alchemist took a lot of work, late nights, and confusing phone calls with lawyers… but we got there in the end and I’m proud to have played my part in it!

Tell us something surprising about yourself

When I was 4, I was kidnapped by a dog. There was a search party looking for me for a whole day… police cordons and everything! If you’re ever in the office, just ask and I’ll tell the full story.

Any hidden talents?

I’m not sure anything is hidden, I wear my heart upon my sleeve, what you see is what you get!
