British American Tobacco is a British multinational company that manufactures and sells cigarettes, tobacco and other nicotine products. It is the largest tobacco company in the world based on net sales.
They needed a way to make sure their Trade marketing field sales force of over 25,000 people uses a standardised approach. So that the way of selling is the same across all regions.
Alchemist designed, developed and delivered the Sales Skills Behavioural Development Programme – POSITIVE.
This is a 10-module training programme which is complimented by a bespoke Coaching App accessible to all to ensure a standardised best practice way of selling is taking place across all regions.
The training module programme has been delivered in 50 different languages over 120 different countries around the world.
The Coaching App is used in over 40 territories. And as a result British American Tobacco has seen an increase of market share in almost every single one of these regions. In one region in particular the market share grew from 93.5% to 95.1%.
