We’re looking for a motivated and creative Learning Designer with previous experience and a strong track record of working in a learning designer role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting engaging learning materials and experiences, expertise in learning design, and a drive to learn and develop.
The key responsibilities for the successful candidate will be:
Instructional/Learning Design: Collaborate with Learning Consultants, clients and the Alchemist sales team to support the design and build of innovative and immersive learning experiences that are guided by client and learner needs. Create design concepts, scoping documents, and scripts and storyboards. Review work from other members of the learning team or from previous projects to provide quality assurance and adapt it for different purposes.
Content Creation: Develop engaging and effective learning content and learning design documentation for delivery via various formats, including e-learning modules, workshops, reports, guides, ‘experiments’, scripting etc. This could include digital learning content working in Articulate Storyline and Rise.
Mandatory
Strong writing and communication skills.
Previous experience in a learning designer role, preferably in commercial learning and development.
Demonstrable experience of content creation across various formats.
Proven ability to work under pressure and multi-task, comfortably operating individually and collaboratively with the immediate team and wider organisation.
Proficiency in IT tools and platforms for content creation.
Passion for learning design and delivering high quality learner experiences which achieve the desired outcomes.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work on complex, multi-component projects, ensuring consistency across all elements
Desirable
A degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline.
Previous experience of creating leadership/management related content.
Experience/interest in game design.
Understanding of accessibility in learning design.
Experience of creating digital learning content working in Articulate Storyline and Rise.
