We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our studio team and help us in delivering high-quality design projects. You will liaise with stakeholders from our in-house marketing and client facing teams and across the business to understand and refine briefs received and manage the timings to deliver all activity. Your contribution will add value to the team and our product and service, directly impacting the customer experience.

So, for this role, we need someone highly creative, with a sharp eye for detail, being led by a Lead Designer to produce high-quality, client-ready work. Your goal will be to create impactful designs that capture and promote the Alchemist vision of learning design.
Our team mixes talent from a variety of backgrounds, including eLearning developers, video producers and graphic designers, which gives us a varied skillset that enables us to provide unique, high-quality bespoke learning solutions.
You can expect:
Hands-on experience with helping in delivering design requirements in a fast-paced studio environment.
The opportunity to work across multiple blue-chip brands on a variety of project types and apply your design experience to create impactful graphics which support learning solution design and the clear, impactful articulation of our learning solutions, products and services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Helping to shape and iterate creative briefs during project scoping.
Helping to deliver on design requirements.
Understanding the design idea and concept.
Creating drafts and models for review.
Using the best design methods, applications, software, and techniques to complete projects.
Producing final design solutions (including PPTs, posters, flyers, web graphics, multimedia).
Pitching creative ideas to internal stakeholders and client stakeholders.
Collaborating with the Lead Designer, Videographer and the design team to produce final product.
Taking on specific tasks to support many projects underway.
Using feedback from other designers to improve.
The team is based in our Central Scotland Hub. We offer flexible working arrangements and fully remote working will be considered for the right candidate.
Essential Requirements & Skills:
Minimum two years of experience working in graphic design or multimedia (mid-level).
A good portfolio of past design and creative projects.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for both design and video.
Experience using Microsoft Office 365, PowerPoint and Word.
Good command over design techniques and visual elements.
Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
Experience of presenting design ideas and concepts to client stakeholders.
A keen eye for detail.
Creative thinking with attention to detail.
Desirable Requirements & Skills:
Interest in working on motion graphics.
Interest in working on 3D and AR projects.
Interest in UX/UI design.
